Conjora Limited ("we", "us", "our") operates FuelFinder.ie. We are the data controller for personal data collected through this website. You can contact us at hello@fuelfinder.ie or via our contact page.
We collect the following limited data:
• Price submissions — fuel type, price, and station location you submit. No account or login is required. We do not ask for your name or email address to submit a price.
• IP address — logged automatically per request for rate limiting and fraud prevention. Not stored permanently.
• Contact form — if you contact us, we collect your name, email address, and message content.
• Analytics — we may use privacy-respecting analytics (no third-party cookies, no cross-site tracking) to understand how the site is used.
• No cookies — FuelFinder.ie does not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or any third-party marketing cookies.
We process data on the following legal bases under GDPR Article 6:
• Legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f)) — operating a community fuel price tool, preventing abuse, and improving the service.
• Consent (Art. 6(1)(a)) — where you voluntarily submit a contact form or price data.
• Legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c)) — where required by Irish or EU law.
• Displaying community-submitted fuel prices on the map and in price tables.
• Rate limiting submissions to prevent spam and fake prices.
• Responding to contact form enquiries.
• Improving site performance and fixing errors.
We do not sell your data. We do not use your data for advertising or marketing without your explicit consent.
• Price submissions — retained for up to 90 days to populate price history. Older data is deleted on a rolling basis.
• IP addresses — not stored beyond the current server session (in-memory rate limiting only).
• Contact form messages — retained for up to 12 months, then deleted.
• Server logs — retained for up to 30 days for security purposes.
We use the following third-party processors to operate the service:
• Supabase (database hosting, EU region) — price and station data storage.
• Vercel (web hosting, EU edge) — serving the website.
• OpenStreetMap / Nominatim — station and location data (no personal data sent).
• Google Workspace — receiving contact form emails.
All processors are required to handle data in accordance with GDPR. We do not share data with advertisers, data brokers, or any third party for commercial purposes.
As an EU/Irish resident, you have the following rights:
• Right of access — request a copy of any personal data we hold about you.
• Right to erasure — request deletion of your personal data ("right to be forgotten").
• Right to rectification — request correction of inaccurate data.
• Right to object — object to processing based on legitimate interests.
• Right to restriction — request we limit how we process your data.
• Right to portability — receive your data in a machine-readable format.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at hello@fuelfinder.ie. We will respond within 30 days.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Data Protection Commission (DPC) at www.dataprotection.ie.
We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), access controls on our database, and rate limiting on all submission endpoints. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, but we take reasonable precautions.
FuelFinder.ie is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has submitted personal data to us, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect any changes. Continued use of FuelFinder.ie after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
