Circle K Extra

Republic of Ireland

A free, app-based programme with three levels. Scan the Circle K app when you pay; the more you spend over three months, the higher your level.

Fuel savings
Everyday fuel discount for members: 1c per litre at Level 1, 2c at Level 2 and 3c at Level 3, subject to programme terms.
Points & rewards
Your level is set by what you spend at Circle K over the previous 3 months: Level 1 up to €150, Level 2 from €150, Level 3 from €300.
Food & coffee
Every 7th free on selected cold drinks, sandwiches, wraps, rolls and dispensed drinks.
Car wash
Every 7th car wash free.
App & digital
Membership lives in the Circle K app. The member fuel discount can also be applied when paying at the pump in the app.
Other benefits
Shop offers that change from time to time, shown in the app.

Joining & eligibility

  • Download the Circle K app and register.
  • Scan the app at the till, or pay in the app at the pump, to collect.
  • Levels are recalculated on a rolling 3-month basis.
Applegreen

Applegreen Rewards

Republic of Ireland only

A free rewards app. Scan your barcode, or give the phone number on your account, when you pay in-store to collect rewards and unlock coupons.

Points & rewards
Collect points when you fill up or shop at Applegreen. Applegreen does not publish a fixed earn rate on its programme page.
Food & coffee
Coffee Club: buy 9 coffees, get the 10th free.
Car wash
Car Wash Club: buy 4 washes, get the 5th free.
App & digital
Track progress towards your next reward at any time in the app. Current offers are under the star tab.

Maxol

Maxol Loyalty app

A free app with digital stamp cards for coffee and car washes, a Gold Member tier, and FuelPay for paying for fuel from your phone.

Points & rewards
Earn gold stars on qualifying spends (€5 in-store, or €30 or more on fuel — one star per fuel transaction). Collect 10 within 90 days to become a Gold Member, which unlocks an extra monthly offer.
Food & coffee
Free ROSA coffee when you sign up, then every 7th ROSA coffee free with the digital stamp card.
Car wash
Buy 4 car washes and the 5th is free (an Ultimate top wash).
App & digital
FuelPay: start the pump and pay for fuel in the app, without going to the till. Also includes a station finder.
Other benefits
Occasional member treats, such as bank holiday offers.

  • Download the Maxol app and register.
  • Scan your digital loyalty card at the till to collect stamps and stars.
  • Gold stars expire after 90 days.

Maxol does not advertise a per-litre fuel discount for app members.

Texaco

Texaco Star Rewards

UK, including Northern Ireland

A points scheme run by Valero. Earn points on the fuel you buy with a Star Rewards card or the Texaco app, then spend them in-store or swap them for gift vouchers.

Fuel savings
Points can be spent on fuel, shop products or the car wash at participating Texaco stations — 500 points takes £5 off.
Points & rewards
1 point per qualifying litre of fuel. Each point is worth 1p, and points can be redeemed once you reach 500.
App & digital
Digital Star Rewards card in the Texaco app, which can be added to your phone wallet. 200 bonus points on registering, and double points on your first 3 fill-ups.
Other benefits
Points can be exchanged for Love2shop gift vouchers or donated to charity.

  • Present your card or digital card when you buy fuel.

Star Rewards is priced in sterling. We could not confirm from Valero’s published information that it runs at Texaco stations in the Republic of Ireland — check with Texaco before relying on it there.

Certa

Tesco Clubcard at Certa

Republic of Ireland

Certa forecourts are a Tesco Clubcard partner. Present your Clubcard when you pay for fuel to collect points, which become Tesco vouchers.

Points & rewards
1 Clubcard point for every €2 spent on fuel at Certa fuel stations — a lower rate than the standard in-store rate.
Other benefits
Points turn into Clubcard vouchers, usable on groceries and with Tesco’s reward partners. Certa home heating oil also earns points at the same rate.

  • Any Tesco Clubcard holder in the Republic of Ireland.
  • Show your Clubcard, or the Clubcard app, when you pay.

Common questions

Do loyalty discounts change the prices shown on FuelFinder?

No. FuelFinder shows the pump price exactly as it was reported — the price on the pole. A loyalty discount, points or voucher is something the brand gives its members separately, on its own terms, so we never subtract it from a price or rank stations by it.

Which fuel brands in Ireland give members money off per litre?

Of the programmes listed here, Circle K Extra advertises an everyday member fuel discount, set by your level. The others reward you with points, stamp cards or vouchers instead. Terms apply to all of them and can change, so check the brand’s own page before you rely on a benefit.

Do I need an app to join?

For most of them, yes. Circle K Extra, Applegreen Rewards and the Maxol programme all run through the brand’s app. Texaco Star Rewards works with a card or the Texaco app, and Tesco Clubcard with the card or the Clubcard app.

Is this the same as FuelFinder’s Fuel Points?

No. Fuel Points are FuelFinder’s own thank-you for reporting prices, and have nothing to do with any fuel brand. The programmes on this page are run by the fuel brands themselves.

Why isn’t my local brand listed?

We only list a programme when we can confirm what it offers from the brand’s own published information. If a brand you use runs a loyalty scheme, tell us and we will check it.
